Hardware Asset Administrator Enterprise environment Ongoing professional development Central location close proximity to public transport and discounted carparking This is an exciting opportunity to join our futurefocused Digital Workplace team as our Hardware Asset Administrator to assist with changing the way we work and the tools we use to drive high performing culture within Watercare About the role Reporting into the Principal Digital Workplace Lead this fun and challenging role will help implement and follow processes and tools to proactively manage and monitor hardware in the Watercare environment as well as overall ownership for the accuracy of our CMDB You will work alongside the Digital Workplace Team to ensure we know everything we need to know about our hardware and other key components in our environment as well as assist in user onboarding and offboarding activities end user device management reporting forecasting and be responsible for the end to end digital hardware asset lifecycle Some key responsibilities will include Work alongside the Principal Digital Workplace Lead to create share and maintain hardware asset management and CMBD policies processes standards and procedures Regularly review and audit our stock room to verify physical existence of hardware assets and to ensure accurate recording Owning the inventory management process to manage the purchase of standard hardware end user devices and Digital consumables in a timely manner so the customer is never impacted by short supply Assist in forecasting yearly hardware spend based on predicted staffing changes previous rates of consumption hardware replacement needs and major projects Ideal qualifications and experienced needed ITIL certified proven process improvement experience and previous Hardware Asset Management experience Excellent financial and communication skills alongside a developed commercial awareness Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently strong organisation skills ability to forward plan and manage details with high attention to detail Strong facilitation skills presenting technical information to nontechnical stakeholders with a strong understanding of the digital landscape and modern policies and practices What do we offer We offer competitive remuneration and staff benefits package including Life and income protection insurance plans Discounted banking packages Generous parental leave Employee discounts at a range of large retailers If this sounds like the opportunity for you then apply online today at www careers watercare co nz
