About Us:New Zealand Aircraft Engineering Ltd. is an aircraft maintenance and repair business based at Oamaru airport.
Along with maintaining the fleet of the academy based at Oamaru airport, NZAE also maintains some aircraft for private and commercial operators, and provides maintenance control services.Due to strong growth in activity and a forecast of significant growth in the future, we are seeking a detail-oriented Hangar Administration Assistant to join our dynamic team.
This position is critical to ensuring our fleet operates at peak performance by managing maintenance activities and overseeing parts inventory.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and oversee all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities for the fleet.Monitor and manage aircraft maintenance schedules to ensure compliance with regulatory and operational requirements.Liaise with the Chief Engineer, maintenance engineers, and flight operations to minimize downtime and maintain fleet readiness.Maintain detailed maintenance records and ensure proper documentation is completed accurately and on time.Manage inventory of aircraft parts, tools, and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels to support maintenance activities.Source, order, and track parts from approved vendors, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.Perform inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies to maintain accurate records.Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and ensure compliance with procurement standards.Maintain documentation for parts traceability and ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines.QualificationsThe following is preferred but not mandatory.
