Mechanical Assistant

Are you good with your hands? We are after someone to help with general repairs of our campervans and cars. Some training will be provided but this role is ideally suited for someone that loves to problem solve and get things working. It is a busy and interesting role and no two days will be the same.

We are looking for someone with a happy go LUCKY attitude to just help out and do whatever needs doing. It is an action packed fun environment over the summer season!
The person will be required to do a wide range of duties and will need to be multi talented and a hands on thinking person. Will need a wide range of skills and to be able to turn a hand to many aspects of the business, from tyre changes to Branch Maintenance, you will be the go too person. Be able to take on projects, come up with the solutions to problems and follow through to a conclusion. This position would suit a self motivated person that enjoys working around vehicles.

The successful applicant will have good communication skills, enjoy working in a busy environment and a current NZ drivers licence is vital for this role.
We are looking for someone for 40 hours per week. This position would include some weekend work and is a fixed term contract until May. Previous practical experience will be helpful but not essential.
