Guest Services - Scenic Hotel Marlborough

We are currently on the hunt for a dynamic, hands-on receptionist to join our Guest Services team. The successful candidate must demonstrate excellent communication skills and have an exceptional eye for detail. As this is a front line position in our customer service chain a high standard of personal grooming is key. To be successful you must be able to work autonomously as well as being part of a wider team.

Some of the key duties of the role include;

Assisting with guest check-in and check-out
Dealing with guest inquiries
Hotel reservations
Daily cashiering and other general Front Desk duties
Managing the busy flow of reservations via telephone and email
Communicate with Housekeeping, Porters, Kitchen regarding room allocations, VIP guests/rooms, special requests, room moves or changes
A minimum of 6+ months previous experience in a similar environment is a pre-requisite of the successful candidate, a formal Hospitality qualification is also desired.

A full New Zealand Drivers Licence is required for this position.
