Specifically, your team's core responsibilities will center around strategic cashflow management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, job cost accounting, and payroll functions.

Obelisk is seeking an experienced, qualified CA, a financially astute individual with a demonstrated drive for success.
Your experience in strategic and transactional leadership will enable you to improve financial controls and processes.If you have practical knowledge in management accounting, budgeting, and forecasting, and are motivated to achieve results while taking responsibility for ensuring the company's financial health through growth and beyond, we invite you to apply.What you'll bring:Expertise in management accounting to support strategic decision-making processes.Accurate and timely financial and management reporting.Day-to-day accounting transaction management.Accounts payable oversight and accounts receivable management.Payment processing, invoicing and billing, bank reconciliations, and credit control of overdue payments.Fixed asset register management.Payroll administration and execution.Knowledge of construction and industrial project cost accounting methods, including job costing and cost-to-complete analysis.System expertise, with advanced skill levels in Excel and experience using ERP systems.Support to the project management function by managing project cash flow, budgets, and large CAPEX budgets.Truly collaborative with excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex ideas and reports to the senior management team and not be afraid to have courageous conversations.Proficiency in systems implementation, actively seeking opportunities for improvement.Proven experience in building and leading teams.Ability to see the big picture through investment opportunities that support the company's trajectory growth.Qualifications:Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with a strong academic background.Proven experience in management accounting, budgeting, and forecasting.Demonstrated success in navigating high-growth environments.Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex financial data.Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.Sound decision-making skills and a good understanding of business and financial analysis are crucial.Experience in the Structural Steel and Industrial Projects industry would be a huge advantage.If this exciting position has sparked your interest and you believe you are up for the challenge, we encourage you to submit your application today.
