Join ElectroNet Group as our Group Financial Controller and lead the team to new heights!What you'll do:As the Group Financial Controller, you will be stepping into a high-impact leadership role.
You will partner with and support the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) by providing strategic leadership to our West Coast based Group finance team.
Your role will encompass financial reporting, tax, audit, regulatory compliance, treasury, payroll, insurance management, credit control, financial systems management, property management, and internal controls.
You will also act as a business partner to our Network and Generation & Technology General Managers.Key Responsibilities:Leadership: Provide visionary leadership to the Group finance team.
Foster a culture of collaboration and excellence.Strategic Initiatives: Coordinate and manage the implementation of Group Finance strategic initiatives.
Work with the Finance Leadership team to develop these initiatives.Financial Reporting: Lead the accounting and financial reporting for various entities within the Group.
Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.Audit & Compliance: Lead the annual audits and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Prepare audit paperwork and manage tax compliance.Treasury Management: Oversee the Group's banking arrangements, cashflow requirements, and treasury policy.
Manage foreign exchange purchases and derivatives.Systems & Processes: Lead the Group systems accounting function, including payroll and ERP financial controls.
Drive continuous improvement of systems and processes.Property Management: Oversee the Group's property management function, including lease management and statutory compliance.Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the preparation of consolidated Group budgets and forecasts.
Manage the budgeting and forecasting process.Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with Health and Safety policies and procedures.
