Graphic Designer

Graphic Designer
Company:

Gallagher

Details of the offer

Working for Gallagher is a career move, not just a job.

Are you a graphic designer with solid experience in diverse and complex organisations and looking to join one of New Zealand’s most iconic tech companies which operates across a number of industries throughout the world?

If so, read on to find out more about this new position in our team.

The successful candidate will have experience under their belt and be able to hit the ground running alongside our in-house graphic design team. You will be able to produce effective artwork across online, print and video mediums and be comfortable picking up existing work and taking it to the next level too.

We’re looking for a driven, organised designer - to be successful in this role you will have:

A relevant qualification in design (or a related field).
At least 4-6 years’ experience.
An exceptional portfolio showcasing your diversity of design and impeccable foundational design skills.
A willing and proactive approach to produce brilliantly simple, accurate and premium designs with ease that shows empathy for the intended audience.
A strong end-to-end creative design skillset, including project and stakeholder relationship management.
Flexibility, adaptability, and willingness to take on a wide range of tasks.
Excellent time management skills and the ability to work with the team to prioritise work based on impact and value.

As this role supports both our People & Brand and Animal Management teams (50/50 split), each week will be quite varied with your work reaching both internal and external audiences. While it’s important that you will be comfortable with quick turnaround jobs (updating templates, creating editable PDFs, etc), it’s equally important that you can change tack quickly to develop campaigns, advertisements, brochures, flyers, social media graphics and more – right through to creating artwork for our events, plus the eye for taking a great photo that can easily fit into our existing library. If you have some experience in motion graphic design and light video work too that’s a real plus.

Along with the ability to be part of a team of more than 1000 innovative minds who are often recognised with numerous awards and a network of graphic designers across Gallagher, you will get great benefits such as a competitive salary and the chance to join a team embracing new ways of working.

So if you’re a true brand ambassador who is drawn in by our story and inspired by the uniqueness of our brand, then we’d love you to understand more in the position description.

Applications will close Sunday, 20 September 2020. We’ll look forward to hearing from you.
