Graphic design work needed - casual basis
We offer an exciting collaborative tech start-up environment where you will have the opportunity to learn at an extremely fast pace! We are a small friendly team with a great work culture! You'll love working with us!
You'll work with the team to understand how to motivate investors and customers and will help design everything from pitch decks to marketing collateral. This is an unbelievable opportunity! Highly flexible but you will need to work during business hours with the team. Hours will vary from project to project - initially there is a lot to do but most is not time sensitive so if you need a certain number of hours please discuss this with us. There is an average of 20 to 30 hours of work per month.
We have great offices located on Symonds Street - just up from the University of Auckland.Requirements Excellent communication skills Studied graphic design Hard working and honest Access to Adobe Photoshop and/or Illustrator or equivalent. You will also need to be proficient with these. Ability to create high quality fliers for printing Experience creating powerpoint files - you'll need to be able to modify graphics and do more than just select a template Strong eye for visual design Provide your own equipment (ie. laptop) Ability to design or re-design on the fly and modify as needed Right to work in NZ
As part of the interview process we will provide you with some context (such as a flier or powerpoint and an explanation) and you will have an hour or so to redesign or create a basic concept and explain it to us so that we can see what and how you work even if you don't finish the project. The goal is not to get free work out of you but to understand your ability to think through and design on the fly.
Payrate is $20 to $25 per hour. Apply now!
