The GM will be key in Partly's strategy and success, responsible for scaling operations and gaining adoption of our infrastructure in Australia.
What will you do?
Commercial Viability: Oversee the success of scaling a major part of the business strategy in NZ & AU.
Market Research and Planning: Conduct research to understand the auto parts industry needs in NZ & AU.
Platform Development: Connect market research insights with technical requirements.
Project & Program Management: Develop detailed plans including timelines, budgets, and resources for NZ and Australian operations.
Partner/Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with clients and distributors, onboard parts suppliers, collaborate with the executive team on operating models, and specify requirements with the tech team.
Pricing: Build, stress-test, and implement the pricing framework.
Collaboration: Work with marketing for launch planning and ensure platform readiness.
Building a Team: Identify hiring needs, lead recruitment, and manage the team to meet objectives.
Operations & Support Strategy: Develop and oversee ongoing support for partners and clients.
Skills and Experience (Preferred) MBA or equivalent experience.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to distill complex problems and prioritize effectively.
Proven experience as a General Manager, Program Director, or Operations Director.
Knowledge of business processes (finance, HR, procurement, operations).
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Exceptional problem-solving abilities.
