The Role:

Needed is a Geometric Designer to join our busy New Plymouth office to provide Engineering Services covering road geometric design, AutoCAD draughting and general civil engineering tasks.
Skills and Experience:
• Good knowledge of the relevant codes, standards, legislation and practices.
• A minimum 5 years’ experience with either MX Road, Civil 3D or 12D design software packages.
• A minimum 5 years’ experience with AutoCAD draughting software.
• A tertiary civil engineering qualification and a minimum 5 years’ experience in the fields of road design and AutoCAD draughting.
• Have or be working towards Tier 1 PMAF as a minimum
• Have a good technical understanding of road geometric design along with utilities, building and other civil engineering related projects
• Undertake MX, Civil 3D or 12D design and AutoCAD draughting as required
• Be familiar with or can quickly become familiar with and be able to apply Austroads Design Standards, NZTA Standards and client specific design standards.
