Tamatea Medical & Shakespeare Medical Centres have been operating in Napier for more than 40 years, as a family-centred clinics. As we continue to grow, and we are needing the services of another experienced, registered general practice nurse to join our friendly team. We know that nurses in General Practice make a difference to the health and wellbeing of patients, their whanau and to the wider community. They contribute to the improved health and wellbeing of patients and provide exceptional nursing care. We are looking for the ideal person to deliver this first-class nursing service. Do you have the following attributes?
Are you an experienced general practice nurse?
Would be able to works well in a team and independently across both practices?
Warm and caring personality
Knowledge of Med-tech 32 would be an advantage but not essential

Ideal nursing skills to join this busy team:
B4 School Checks
Cx Smear Taker
Long term condition management
Wound care
Long Term Condition Management

The successful candidate MUST have:
A valid and current New Zealand Annual Practising Certificate
A current CPR Certificate

Ideally, we are wanting a person who can work 0.9 FTE across both practices and can start early March 2021 or prior.
