We are seeking a lawyer with 1 to 3 years post admission experience to be part of practice with particular focus onlitigation. You would mainly be assisting our litigation team along with handling a range of matters from other sections of the firm. This presents a great opportunity for you to grow your litigation experience as well as broaden your experience into other fields.
We are a small boutique general practice firm located in West End, Brisbane. We have been providing legal services for over 40 years and have a substantial and stable client base.
Within the local community, we are known for our client-focused attitude, and dedicated tailored services.
We have a wide range of clients of different nationalities and accordingly being fluent in additional languages will be looked upon favourably, particularly Greek however this is not a precondition for application.
The role
Ideally, we are seeking a team member who:

has 1-3 years post admission experience in Litigation fields such as personal injury, family law and dispute resolution as well as sound experience in intermediate and superior courts;
has sound skill in drafting pleadings and affidavits, appearing at directions and mediations;
can work autonomously and under the direction of senior litigation partners;
can lead the litigation team while senior staff are unavailable;
has excellent client and file management skills as you will be expected to maintain 20+ at any time;
is personable and looks forward to meeting and greeting new clients;
is seeking ongoing, full time employment in a well established firm with opportunity for upward movement;
has a hard working and ambitious attitude; and
will mesh well with our existing team.

The role will pay between $50,000 & $60,000 per annum plus superannuation, depending on qualification, experience, and performance. Increases beyond this are available subject to performance and satisfaction of KPIs.
