We are currently seeking expressions of interest for a Seasonal General Mill Worker to join our Production Team located at Plane Creek Mill, Sarina
The Successful Applicant
The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate an ability and willingness to:
Work effectively within a team environment
Work safely and look after the safety of others in the area.
Communicate effectively on telephone and two-way radio.
Work in conjunction with the Production Teams
Be able to provide regular and accurate feedback to the Supervisor
Able to work at heights and within confined spaces if required
Follow instructions given by supervisor and use all required PPE for the tasks
The main duties of the position may include the following:
Use of tools such as shovels, sledgehammers, etc.
Performing general housekeeping duties, including hosing, air lancing, cleaning etc.
Taking samples as directed
Ensure permits to work and risk assessments are completed
Perform other duties as the Supervisor may reasonably request
Assisting tradespersons where required
Qualifications/Skills that may be considered advantageous include:
Working at Heights
Confined Space
