Through integration and collaboration, we're building a health system underpinned by partnership, equity, sustainability, whanau-centred care, and excellence.Mo te turanga / About the roleWe are seeking a General Medicine Physician with a subspecialty in Diabetes and Endocrinology to join our multidisciplinary Medicine Services team.Duties will include:Outpatient sessionsRotorua and Taupo hospital inpatient careEndocrinology and Diabetes investigations/proceduresOn-call duties as per the physician's rosterYou will also have the chance to liaise closely with junior medical staff and advise on assessment, investigation, and treatment approach to patients.Be willing and able to do both Endocrinology and Diabetes.Have an energetic approach to work and be self-motivated.You must be eligible for Specialist Vocational registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Lakes provides healthcare from its two modern and progressive general hospitals in Rotorua and Taupo, New Zealand.
