General Manager

We're looking for a candidate to this position in an exciting company.

Focusing on the key tasks of shaping the work environment, setting strategy, allocating resources, developing the management team, building the organisation, and overseeing operations
Direct and manage business activities and to develop and implement effective business strategies and programs
Co-ordinating business operations
Motivating and empowering staff at all levels
Managing operational costs across the business
Executing first class customer relations and service
Engaging with suppliers
Oversee hiring and development of personnel
Identifying business opportunities, and monitoring sales and financial activities to meet overall growth objectives
Upholding the core company values

Superior knowledge of business functions within a manufacturing environment
Exceptional budgeting and finance skills
Strong leadership with an ability to motivate and influence at all levels
Appreciation of the principals of lean manufacturing and their value in maximising efficiencies and championing these throughout the business
Sales and customer focused to drive revenue
Self-motivated and results-driven with an entrepreneurial spirit and vision
Proficient with common business systems with a knowledge or MRP desired
