Gardening/Bush Maintenance In Porirua

An employer is looking for someone to assist with various tasks maintaining a lifestyle block. The focus will be on native bush regeneration with exotics, fruit trees, and a wood lot. The employer is looking for someone to work an average of 10 hours a week on an on-going basis. Tasks include:
- General tidying: clearing drains, raking leaves, etc.
- Removing pest plants.
- Tree pruning.
- Firewood cutting & splitting.
- Planting.
- Any other gardening or upkeep jobs as necessary. To be successful in this role you will be:
- Physically fit and strong.
- Have previous gardening experience/knowledge, experience in using a chainsaw, strimmer, and chipper would be ideal.
You do not need to bring anything, all tools and gear will be provided. You do however need access to transport in order to get to the location, as it is not possible to reach with public transport.
Pay rate set at $20 per hour
This is a great opportunity for horticultural or landscape students to work on practical skills.
