If you love working outdoors and making a real difference in your community, this could be the perfect role for you.About the roleBased within the Otautahi Community Housing Trust, you'll play an important part in keeping gardens and green spaces looking their best.
Reporting to the Operations Manager and working closely with your crew, your daily tasks will include:Planting, pruning, weeding, and general vegetation controlLooking after garden beds, borders, rose gardens, and shrubsWorking from a clear and organised schedule to ensure high-quality outcomesKeeping safety front of mind – for residents, your team, and yourselfWho we're looking forIdeally, we'd love someone with hands-on gardening experience or a qualification in horticulture, but that's not essential.
What really matters is having a solid work ethic, a passion for working outdoors, and a willingness to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in.
