Gardener

This job will involve weeding and maintaining gardens and plantings of natives in exchange for accomodation and food. We are a small family, based in the semi rural community of Hawea Flat, Wanaka. Both parents work full time and we are developing our 1 acre property at the same time.
Accomodation is a basic room in our home, sharing our kitchen and bathroom. You work 4 hours a day in exchange for accomodation and food. We provide the food and would often cook dinner, but you prepare your own lunch and breakfast.
You need to be hardworking, honest and able to self manage. You need to like children and be happy to operate as a part of the family for the time you stay with us. We are a 15 minute drive from Wanaka so you will need to have your own vehicle.
This is a great opportunity to be a part of a true kiwi family and share in our lifestyle. We are passionate about self sustainability. We grow all our own veges, hunt all our own meat and fish.
We are looking for some help as soon as possible but have work continuing througout summer.
