Front Office Manager A little bit about us Cuba Street has been described as Wellington s famous innercity slice of bohemia a place for the culinary and creative soul and where people meet busk shop and dine Once we ve transformed we want Naumi Hotels to be that place where people meet dine and stay within Wellington Each Naumi Hotel aims to represent the highest standard of hospitality that is passionate enthusiastic and intuitive and the personality of each of the hotels is brought to life by each of our amazing employees At Naumi your individuality is embraced and the guest experience is maximised CQ Hotels Wellington owned by Naumi Hotels is in search of talented skilled and experienced Front Office Manager to join our growing team in our soon to be transformed fabulous new hotels We are undertaking Wellingtons most exciting hotel redevelopment as we transform CQ Hotels Wellington into two Naumi Hotels in 2020 With proposed new restaurant bar reception and guest lounge large conferencing 177 rooms and suites on site parking complex gym and pool and our award winning Naumi Hospitality now is the time to join our fantastic group of lifestyle hotels Reporting directly to the Hotel General Manager you will lead the team in delivering the Naumi experience for our guests on arrival at the hotel As Front Office Manager you will Play your part in achieving budgeted financial results for occupancy rate and overall rooms revenue Provide sound leadership and direction ensuring each team member has the support and opportunity to excel in their role Lead by example do your best at all times to make our guest experience memorable Have the ability to engage and motivate each team member maintaining a focus on improving standards and consistency in service Be responsible for effectively recruiting training and managing individual performance as necessary Develop and maintain effective working relationships with all departments within the hotel at all times Undertake duty management shifts attend revenue and departmental meetings as required Effectively manage rostering making sure that the roster is fair to each team member reflective of operational needs and compliant with employment law Ensure that Front Office complies with licensing laws health and safety statutory and government regulations Our ideal candidate will have 5 Years proven experience working as a Front Office Manager in New Zealand and or Australia preferably in a 4 5 or 5 star Property managing Front Desk Concierge and Guest Services An enthusiastic approach be highly motivated and passionate about delivering the Naumi guest experience Great organisational skills ability to plan and an eye for detail Ability to have fun and build positive relationships this is a key leadership role for the team The Perks Very cool hotels and the opportunity to be yourself at work Competitive salary package Complimentary staff dining whilst on shift Complimentary staff onsite parking Mobile Phone Supportive and encouraging leadership Great growth and development opportunities This is the perfect opportunity for the right dynamic self motivated person to join our growing group and become a valued member of our growing Naumi family We encourage you to explore our hotels online to understand our brand values at naumihotels com and our wider group at hindgroup com If this sounds like the role you have been waiting for wed love to hear from you
