Job DescriptionDuties & ResponsibilitiesSells, registers, and assigns rooms to incoming guests, ensuring that registration cards are properly filled out.
Checks out departing guests by taking out slips from the room rack and crossing out names in the alphabetical rack.Informs other departments and outlets of arrivals, room changes, checkouts, and special arrangements.Maintains records of arrivals and departures in the appropriate logbook.Prepares folios for each guest for the Front Office Cashier; types discount and special rate lists.Compares the HK report on room occupancy with the room rack and reports any discrepancies to a supervisor.Pre-registers VIP guests as per the instructions of the Chief Room Clerk.Attends to guests' complaints, inquiries, and requests; refers problems to the Assistant Front Office Manager when necessary.Maintains proper functioning of the room rack and room status system.Completes the following:Room charge/note change noticesArrival/departure listsAdvance payment listsBlocked room lists for HKNo-show/cancellation listsWork orders for the signature of the Assistant Front Office ManagerWhen on night shift, prepares the night room report and accompanies the room rack with the alphabetical rack.Performs other duties as assigned.Additional InformationLocal Job
