Job Description: Front of House Staff

We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Front of House staff member at Number 8 wire Restaurant . As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a memorable dining experience.

Responsibilities:

* Greet and seat guests in a warm and friendly manner.
* Manage reservations and coordinate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service.
* Provide menus, take orders, and communicate effectively with the kitchen to ensure timely and accurate delivery of food and beverages.
* Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of the dining area, including resetting tables and arranging the dining room as needed.
* Handle cash, credit card transactions, and process payments accurately.
* Address guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction.
* Maintain knowledge of the menu, specials, and dietary restrictions to assist guests effectively.
* Assist with opening and closing duties as required.
* Uphold high standards of hygiene and safety at all times.

Skills & Requirements:

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
* Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage but not required.
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as needed.
* Ability to work well in a team and contribute to a positive workplace culture.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $23.50 – $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week

Schedule:

* Rotating roster

Work Location: In person
