The opportunity:
Identifying the potential safety and privacy issues but also huge opportunity of drone technology, a new product suite and service offering is being created to keep both users and the public engaged and safe. These products will educate the public around drone technology, help foster a community of responsible users and assist with regulation and security. The role will see you help create the digital experience across two mobile applications and a full website revamp. Long term there will be AR and VR implementation for a fully immersive user experience.
Role snapshot:
Working with a small, but passionate team you will take ownership of all aspects of front end product development, helping them soar to new heights. Being a pivotal time for the organisation your work will help create a slick, visually appealing and highly usable product suite for users. Sitting in the pilots seat, you'll be able to utilise the benefits of heavy market and user research and incorporate these findings to redevelop the existing website and as guidance for the new apps. You'll liaise with a range of stakeholders and vendors along the way to ensure what you're building is of the highest quality and most value for the user.
To be successful in the role you will have:
3+ years front end development experience
Experienced and capable with React and Redux
Ideally experience developing across a range of platforms/technologies e.g. web, mobile, VR, AR, etc...
Solid skills with HTML/CSS and JavaScript
Exposure to or understanding of UI and UX principles beneficial
Demonstrable portfolio of high quality work
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Eager to learn and stay up to date with the latest tech trends
An interest in the aviation industry or drone technology beneficial
