Forklift Operator/General Hand

Vital Petfoods is currently looking for a fit and strong general hand (with current OSH forklift license) to join our production team. This permanent role offers 40 hours, 5 days a week Monday to Friday from 9am to 5:30pm Vital Petfoods Limited is a proudly New Zealand owned and operated business which produces high quality pet food product from raw products for both the domestic and international markets from its factory in Belfast, Christchurch. The role includes Undertaking forklift duties helping to ensure teams have the raw materials required for the planned production run Loading and running petfood processing equipment and machinery Cleaning of the machinery and general hygiene responsibilities. General processing tasks We need our people to be ready and willing to be flexible in their work day as there will be variety in duties depending on the stage of processing and we are keen to teach you a wide variety of different tasks and roles. All applicants must be fit and healthy for this fast paced and physically demanding full-time permanent role.
