About the Company
We are a well-established construction company that completes unique projects in the water industry, including building turnkey modular water and wastewater plants. Our close-knit team are the backbone of our company and we have been fortunate to be able to support everyone throughout and beyond the COVID-19 lockdown.
Your new Role
This is a “hands on” role, where you will be responsible for a workforce of 15 – 25 workers spread over 3 – 4 sites at any one time.
Your responsibilities include:
• Placing appropriate team members into each project and simultaneously manage the performance of each team
• Increasing the performance of teams in the field and workshop through training and mentorship
• Supporting apprentices by ensuring that they are receiving appropriate training
• Developing and managing the implementation of construction methodologies associated with pipe fabrication, excavation and shoring, installation of pipework, pumps and valves.
• Managing a small number of key subcontractors
About you
If you are the right person for the job you will have:
• Exceptional leadership skills
• Experience in reading and translating drawings
• Great communication skills and a ‘can do’ attitude
• The ability to work autonomously, under pressure, to determine priorities and give instructions
Reporting to the Construction Manager and working alongside a least two Project Managers
Salary range $100k - $120k + vehicle
