What will you be doing with us?
We have an opportunity for a Food & Beverage Supervisor/ Cook to join our team at Wairarapa Hospital, Masterton .
This is a Permanent Full-time role, working 32 hours per week, Saturday to Tuesday.
You will be responsible for: Supervising the performance of F&B team members Ensuring that all tasks associated with food service, beverage services and general customer service are performed with due regard for all Health and Safety and Food Safety regulations Managing stock and deliveries, which may include lifting heavy packages Preparing single special items and bulk dishes for patient meals Assisting with ordering and stock rotation Complying with food safety standards and having a good understanding of food allergens Assisting with general kitchen and cleaning duties Ideal skills and experience: Hardworking Immaculate personal presentation and high standards of cleanliness A team player but also able to work autonomously Friendly outgoing personality with a 'can do' attitude At least 2 years' previous supervisory experience and hold a food safety certificate (Unit Standard 167), or be willing to train for one Additional Benefits: Competitive remuneration Training & Development Programs Discounts on medical insurance, banks, hotels, insurance, and more!
