If your career bucket list includes working in the stunning surroundings of a national park and gaining experience across various outlets, we are eager to hear from you.At the Hermitage Hotel, we offer our overnight guests and day visitors a variety of food and beverage outlets during the summer months.
Regardless of your outlet assignment, you will be the face of our dining experience, ensuring our guests enjoy everything we have to offer.
Working alongside colleagues in the F&B and Kitchen teams, you will deliver cohesive service throughout the day.What you will be doingMeeting and greeting our guestsSharing your knowledge of our food and beveragesProviding efficient table management and resettingMaintaining high standards of presentation for our outletsSupporting guests to maximize their stay with usWhat you will bring to the roleSolid F&B experience in a similar role, including POS systems, maintaining food and beverage items, restaurant presentation, and guest engagementA passion for providing exceptional service and memorable guest experiencesAn eye for cleanliness, organization, and presentationA willingness to learn and a "can do" attitudeAbility to work under pressure and resolve issues effectivelyFlexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidaysEffective written and verbal communication skillsA collaborative approach to teamworkThe BenefitsFull-time position, minimum 60 hours per fortnightHourly rate of $25.00Live in Aoraki/Mt Cook National Park with stunning surroundings and unparalleled views – a short, remarkable commute to work.
