We are looking for a float enthusiast to deliver top-notch customer service, impeccable cleaning duties, and general administrative tasks. Our business specialises in providing floatation services to the general public, enthusiasts, athletes, professionals, artists, students and anybody else who wishes to benefit from the total relaxation that sensory deprivation achieves.We are looking for that special someone who: Is great with people and sensitive to the energy of others Is keen to learn and adaptable to change Sales superstar Has excellent communication skills Enjoys working in a relaxed environment but also isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves to clean Can work independently and as part of a team Is reliable and trustworthy This Job is ideal for Psychology, Philosophy, and Medical majors.Responsibilities: Answer all incoming calls and handle customers inquiries Re-direct calls as appropriate and take adequate messages when required Greet, assist customers and visitors Use sales techniques to get returning clients Provide detailed instruction to customers about floatation therapy. Become the expert in Floatation therapy. Provide public with information on floatation and its benefits (be a strong floatation advocate) Keep floatation centre clean and tidy which includes floatation rooms, waiting area, storage rooms, kitchen and public toilet Prepare floatation rooms and public toilet for customer use at the start of each day Clean flotation rooms after each customer Keep flotation pods in clean and tidy condition Maintain up-to-date and accurate filing system Monitor the use of supplies and equipment Monitor and adjust water chemical balance in floatation pods Perform maintenance of floatation centre equipment Skills & Experience needed: Impeccable customer service skills Sales skills Commercial cleaning experience (is an advantage) Strong time management skills Ability to work under pressure and within tight time constraints Basic computer skills Ability and desire to learn Admin skills Great communication skills Personality: Honest and trustworthy Respectful Possess cultural awareness and sensitivity Flexible Sound work ethics Here is what you get: Opportunity to learn about floatation and pick up new skills in a friendly, zen environment Free floats to stay zen and happy!
Successful applicants will be working around at least 2 shifts per week up to a maximum of 4 per week. Candidates can work in either morning shifts starting at 8:30 am, Monday to Friday, and evening shifts from 4 pm until 10:30 pm. Applicants can also work on Weekends from 7:30 am to 10:30 pm. The successful applicant will need to be available for one weekday shift and one weekend shift plus an additional shift here and there depending on the week.Candidates will be required to undergo a 3 or 4-hour unpaid trial prior to starting the role. This will involve watching the role be done to make sure that they are interested in the role. This is followed by 3 days of paid training in the role.
