Fitter Welder

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Fitter Welder to join our team of engineers within a leading civil construction group. Due to an increase in work this role is looking to go on for 3 months (potentially longer).
As a Fitter Welder you will be responsible for completing high quality repairs and maintenance to earthmoving machinery and trucks. Having previous experience working in a heavy transport or civil environment you will be able to check equipment, complete welding repairs, fabrication of parts and work in a fast paced environment.
The role will be based in the workshop Monday to Friday and is a 50 hour week.
To apply for this role you need to have-
• Certified welder- Arc and Mig experience
• Basic hand tools experience
• Basic fitter tooling (socket set, spanners, screw drivers, pry bars etc)
• Full NZ Class 1 Drivers Licence
• Experience working in a heavy transport or civil environment
