Fish Processor/Factory Hand

Egmont SeafoodsEgmont Seafood's are looking for a new team member. The ESL team require someone who is motivated, reliable, consistent and prepared to contribute to a productive team.
About this role.
This is factory based role which will include filleting inshore fish species such as Gurnard, Snapper, Tarakihi, School Shark and Rig. Other tasks will include packing, washing bins and loading product into freezers/chillers. In return you?ll get a competitive hourly rate and the chance to upskill. A typical week will be 20-30 hours with some opportunities for overtime. This is a casual position but with the opportunity for permanent employment for the right candidate.

Someone who is motivated? We need someone who can use their initiative and prioritise tasks.
Focus on the detail? Whether its ensuring fillets have no bones, packing accurate weights or cleaning the factory we want someone who makes sure the small things are done properly.
Be Comfortable handling fish? Someone who is keen to roll up their sleeves and is happy handling fish and seafood.
Have a good understanding of Health & Safety requirements? Comply with ESL polices including Food safety, Health & safety, Bullying & Harassment and Drug & Alcohol.
