Financial Reporting Analyst About the role As the Financial Reporting Analyst you are responsible for the provision of accurate and timely financial and commercial advice to the Financial Controller FC and for ensuring the company meets its reporting and regulatory requirements You will work with the FC and Directors to ensure that the company achieves both its short and long term financial and commercial objectives The provision of analysis of the financial results and key metrics within the business will be crucial Commercial analysis and modelling for identification of business options market opportunities and capital investment strategies Ensure the provision of accurate and timely financial reporting including financial analysis providing relevant advice to the FC Lead the preparation and monitor performance against the strategic financial business plans to support achievement of business objectives and outcomes Proactively identify report on and manage actual and potential financial investment capital and acquisition risks Assist with analysis on project quotes project costings etc Report on cash flow capital expenditure return on investments projects and business initiatives Assist and complete annual external audit as well as treasury functions when required Maintain and generate intercompany invoices on a monthly basis File and complete tax returns when they fall due GST Vat returns payroll taxes in all the relevant countries Ensure all aspect of regulatory requirements in each country are met Ensuring the integrity of the balance sheet and General Ledger are correct on a monthly basis Ensure all accounting policies are up to date and aware of any releases Review balance sheet reconciliations and month end processes About you Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of New Zealand or equivalent overseas body Big 4 or mid tier public practice experience essential High levels of accuracy and attention to detail Excellent skills in relationship building Excellent communication skills Previous leadership experience as this role has 1 direct and 2 indirect reports Exposure to corporate legislative compliance processes Experience with MYOB and PowerBi Continuous improvement of automated processes and procedures Experience in the technology or Saas industry will be beneficial About the company Agility are a New Zealandbased solution provider serving over 50 energy companies Nova GloBird Ecotricity and Origin Energy to name a few in Australasia the Middle East and North America They provide proven cost effective billing and customer management solutions to companies on a global scale with bases from 1 000 to 1 000 000 Today millions of residential and commercial customers are billed using their systems Agility strives to develop strong working relationships with each of their clients understanding their business drivers and actively contributing to their success Apply Now Or to find out more please get in touch with Estee on 0226188360 for a confidential chat To apply for this vacancy you MUST be a New Zealand citizen resident or have already secured the right to work in New Zealand and therefore hold a valid visa
