An awesome opportunity has arisen with a reputable Private Sector organisation for an experienced Transactional Manager in what could be a career defining move!
This role is newly created and has been designed to mentor the Accounts Payable and Receivable staff through a significant period of change whilst also overseeing the organisation outsourced payroll. You will therefore be comfortable in a position where you will be doing a mix of leadership, strategy, and BAU. As you will be overseeing these three specific business units the expectation is that you will also be comfortable getting your hands dirty in the processing and checking of the pay runs and payroll where necessary, doing all required reporting for the Senior Leadership Team. You will also play a significant role in the identification, implementation and subsequent training and delivery of a range of process improvements across all three specialisations. You will also be leading, mentoring, and encouraging your team through this transition in what may lead to a complete overhaul to their pre-existing roles.
Therefore this role would be well suited to someone with significant experience and understanding in transactional accounting environments as well as a knowledge of payroll processing and the NZ Holidays Act. You will have demonstrable experience of managing and assisting teams through significant change projects, and the exceptional interpersonal skills required to get the team to buy in and work collectively toward the organisations common goals. You will also require experience utilising and improving complex FMIS systems.
