Full time role - 40 hours per week
Need to be NZFF/FINCAP certified
We are looking for an experienced accounts person to be a Financial Mentor to work in collaboration with families to identify financial issues and develop strategies to resolve them. This part time role is based in Auckland but you will need flexibility to work at other Family Works sites in Auckland if required. This rewarding role will see you provide advice and prepare budgets, advocate for clients in money matters and working with them to achieve financial independence.

To be successful in this role you will need to have:
High numeracy/financial management skills
Experience in accounts payable, account reconciliation, negotiation and mediation
Proven experience of IT systems - Excel, Word, Outlook
Sound understanding of databases
Effective self-management and time prioritisation skills
Excellent people skills
Working knowledge of confidentiality and privacy
Full Drivers licence and access to own vehicle
