Financial Controller

FINANCIAL CONTROLLER This is an ideal opportunity for an ambitious fully qualified accountant to move into a newly created positon to work alongside the Managing Director and his executive team for a privately owned Company Woods Glass NZ Limited started in 1986 and has expanded to become New Zealand s established leader in the supply and installation of a wide range of specific design architectural glass solutions The Company is also part of the Thermosash Group of Companies The position will report to the Managing Director but will have reporting lines to the Group Financial Controller Helped by a small accounting team the successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of all accounting duties and systems including the preparation of monthly management accounts Board packs IT problems any statutory reporting requirements tax including Income Tax PAYE FBT and GST and any other duty that can assist the executive team We are seeking a candidate that can drive the day to day tasks of management of debtor and creditor accounts payroll financial fx risk management HR contract performance reviews in managing the Company s cash flow requirements and in helping out in the management of its operational risks The position requires NZ CA qualification and experience in the Construction industry would be a significant advantage The candidate must have NZ residency citizenship to apply for this position candidate will be responsible for the delivery of all accounting duties and systems
