Financial Assistant

With a solid background in both banking and insurance industry, we have extensive knowledge and experience in helping clients navigate their way through the potential minefield that is finance. With the largest panel of lenders & insurers in New Zealand, we have access to an extensive range of loans & insurance which means we can be creative in their approach to lending and insurance covers. We are now seeking a full time Financial Assistant to join our team. You will be required to provide a high level of customer service to new and existing customers, whilst dealing with and answering all enquiries in a timely manner. The primary focus of this role is supporting clients with their existing and future finance requirements; and supporting the Financial Advisers with knowledge, process and a pro-active approach.Key responsibilities will include: • Inbound and Outbound Client ContactEnsuring all customer details are recorded and updated in CRM to maintain the long-term relationship with the clients and all the third parties..• Providing guidance to the customers on insurance and mortgage products after liaising with clients to understand their current financial position and ultimate goals. • Managing all the inquiries and liaise with solicitors, accountants and and other third parties to ensure the loans process runs smoothly for the client. • Re-fixes, loan maintenance, top ups and interest only processes.• General insurance and claims support for the clients. We are looking for the following previous experience: • At least three years’ work experience in financial industry, such as dealing with residential home lending, loan application, risk & general insurance, etc.Have a level 4 qualification or higher in finance or relevant will be preferredExcellent knowledge and skills in MS Word, Outlook and ExcelAble to pay high attention to detail and meet industry compliance requirementsHave a high level of written and verbal communication skills, and multi-language speaker will be preferable.If this sounds like you, Please email your CV and cover letter to ********** and application closes on 07/08/2020.Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
