When working with clients, you will have the opportunity to save them from their financial worries and protect them and their family though the generations. You will be able to do this by providing independent financial planning, as well as pensions, investments, and protection advice.Their client acquisition strategy is such that, in addition to sourcing core clients through referrals and networking, you will have access to professional connections through which clients will be referred.ResponsibilitiesEssential Job Functions: * Build and strengthen client and joint venture relationships by providing clear, reliable and consistent advice * Achieve your agreed business plan metrics to enable strong individual, office and business results * Maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients and contact them regularly in line with business plan expectations * Keep up to date with all relevant product, legislative and technical changes * Understand their guiding principles and values and uphold them in line with treating customers fairly * Use client information, effectively obtained and documented, to provide suitable recommendations that are individual to the client and makes them feel heard and taken care of * Work effectively with the wider office team in line with internal processes and best practice * Ensure a current statement of professional standing (SPS) is held at all timesKnowledge and Experience: * At least Level 4 qualified achieved through a recognised industry body * Two years financial services experience in a client-facing advice role * Ability to create effective plans of action and stick to them * Able to work in a team as required and on own initiative in line with role requirements * Strong listening and written communication skills in order to transfer client information onto KYC documents and to replay this back to the client in Suitability LettersTo really stand out from the crowd: * Three years plus financial services experience in a client-facing advice role * Knowledge of and experience in defined benefit transfers and the mechanisms for assessing suitability * Previous experience building and maintaining effective relationships with joint ventures and professional connections * Previous success in creating your own opportunities for sourcing and converting prospectsTheir Guiding Principles:They create a dynamic environment that: * Is built on a foundation of trust * Brings out and celebrates the best in each individual * Enables teams and individuals to understand the purpose, impact and value of their role * Inspires a sense of pride * Challenges individuals and teams * Liberates everyone to realise ‘success’If this role interests you, please contact our Recruitment Team
