This full-time permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with key stakeholders, lead change and drive process improvements that directly impact our organisational success.As a Financial Accountant at Mercy Hospital, specific duties include:To be a trusted financial advisor to business unit managers, actively seeking opportunities to enhance knowledge and efficiencies to maximise profitability.Organise and execute budgeting, real-time data access, financial reporting and costing processes to align with Mercy's ongoing financial sustainability.Ensure compliance with legislative and contractual obligations with particular emphasis on payroll and financial matters.Prepare monthly management accounts, annual financial statements, and financial reports.Empower the finance and payroll teams to sustainably enhance service delivery and implement process improvements.Skills and Experiences:Skills And ExperienceThe successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail, along with a proven ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
