Financial Accountant - Fixed Assets

We're looking for a finance professional to bring strong analytical ability, high level of attention to detail, and a passion for continuous improvement to deliver improved accuracy and best practice. We have a genuine commitment to raising the standard of our accounting practices to ensure the financial statements are an accurate reflection of the company's financial position and assist in key strategic and financial decision making.
Responsibilities include:
Management of fixed asset accounting and maintenance of the LPC fixed asset registers
Capital expenditure analysis and reporting
Monthly balance sheet reconciliations including capital WIP
Preparation of monthly, annual and statutory reporting
Manage the external audit process and timely delivery of key inputs
Maintain integrity of data and quality of reporting within M3
Monitoring the effective interface between systems, identifying, recommending and implementing system and procedural improvements
You will:
Be a CA or CPA qualified accountant from a top tier accounting firm with 2+ years' experience in a commercial role involving external audit and complex, technical accounting
Hold a solid understanding of the principles of financial reporting under the IFRS framework
Ideally have worked in the CA environment and/or medium to large scaled commercial entities to a senior level
Bring a team-player, pro-active approach and desire to raise standards, achieve best practice and build business performance
Have experience using large ERP financial systems
Display a high level of integrity and accuracy, and a passion for continuous improvement
