Financial Accountant

The Company This large global, automotive brand specialises in import and distribution within NZ. My client is looking for a Financial Accountant for a 3-6-month contract. Beautiful offices, based in Mt Wellington, parking provided.The Role
As a contract Financial Accountant, you will be reporting into the Financial Controller and will be responsible for the following duties:
Year-end reporting & preparation of financial statements for consolidation & liaising with external auditors
Ensure compliance with all International, Group or local accounting standards (i.e. IFRS & GAAP)
Responsible for GL Reconciliation of Balance Sheet accounts
Analysis on the financial and business performances reporting including the analysis of budget/target against actual figures
Tax returns (FBT, GST, PAYE and NRWT) including liaising with IRD on any matters arising.
Your Profile
We are looking for a CA Qualified, Financial Accountant. You will enjoy being part o a team environment and have strong communication skills. You have ideally worked in a large corporate or complex business. Experience with SAP Accounting Software or a large ERP system would be desirable.Apply Today
