Financial Accountant

This role suits an audit trained accountant looking to join the commercial world. You will be looking to hit the ground running and improve processes.

Our client is a multinational business with an ANZ regional office here in South Auckland. They are looking for a strong financial accountant with an audit background to take on a fast paced accountant role. You will have responsibility for the accounting for a country and have remit to improve processes to achieve higher standards of accounting.
The company is a multinational entity with an established name within retail in New Zealand. The company has manufacturing, outsourced supply and distribution all under the group.

This role is a financial accountant role looking after all the accounting for one entity of the business. This provides the opportunity for accountability and the ability to improve processes from day one.

Key Responsibilities:
Reporting both internal and external

Business parting with SLT

Compliance – Tax and IFRS

Forecasts and Budgets

Ad Hoc Analysis

Key Requirements:
CA or Similar

Experience in a similar role ideally with a background in external audit

High chance of progression in this role.
