SMBs can connect their cloud software to the 9Spokes platform and use the Tracker tool to get a comprehensive, near real-time picture of how they’re performing across the metrics that matter most – so they can make quick, sharp decisions that impact growth.We have a new role for a Financial Accountant to to support the growth of the company by providing timely financial information, and add value to the organisation through accurate financial and management reporting.Key Accountabilities include;Review of monthly accounts for the parent entity and its subsidiariesAssistance with the half-year review and annual audit for the group and individual subsidiaries, including preparation of Financial Statements in accordance with NZ IFRSPreparation of papers on key accounting matters and estimates as well as any changes in accounting standardsReview and analysis of customer contracts with regards to revenue recognitionPreparation of monthly management reports and analysisManagement of compliance deadlines and filingsManagement and review of global payroll and employees’ costs including resolution of payroll queriesMarketplace revenue and expenses reconciliationsPreparation of Callaghan R&D claimsProvide back up for Assistant Accountant role as requiredSupport Finance Manager and internal stakeholders as requiredThe successful candidate must demonstrate experience and working knowledge across the following areas;Proficiency in Microsoft ExcelProficiency in Xero accounting softwareStrong technical knowledge of IFRS / NZ IFRSCA Qualified Accountant is preferredAdaptability and flexibility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesGiven the small size of the team, many of the key accountabilities will be shared within the team and the Financial Accountant is expected to be an important team member in the delivery. 9Spokes values driven individuals with excellent time-management skills who are capable of producing outcomes, who also enjoy opportunities to think and solve issues creatively.
