As Financial Officer within the Revenue and Refunds team you will assist with all financial activities in relation to motor vehicle licensing, driver licensing, road user charges, safety camera infringements and tolling. To be successful in this role, you will bring: Knowledge and skills in reconciling and reviewing financial transactions with a view of measuring against internal controls. Experience as a Financial Officer or similar role would be advantageous but not essential. Strong computer literacy and experience with MS Office (Excel). Proven experience with accuracy, attention to detail, and thoroughness of processing, recording, filing and retrieving information. Ability to manage tasks and prioritize accordingly. Ability to quickly learn operating various systems. Have a positive attitude as well as being a team player with good organisational skills. You will demonstrate knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an understanding of Te Ao Maori and promote tikanga and Te Reo Maori. You will also have knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an appreciation of te Tiriti o Waitangi (the Treaty of Waitangi) as it applies in the public sector.
