To be successful in this role, you will bring:
Knowledge and skills in reconciling and reviewing financial transactions with a view of measuring against internal controls.Experience as a Financial Officer or similar role would be advantageous but not essential.Strong computer literacy and experience with MS Office (Excel).Proven experience with accuracy, attention to detail, and thoroughness of processing, recording, filing and retrieving information.Ability to manage tasks and prioritize accordingly.Ability to quickly learn operating various systems.Have a positive attitude as well as being a team player with good organisational skills.You will demonstrate knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an understanding of Te Ao Maori and promote tikanga and Te Reo Maori. You will also have knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an appreciation of te Tiriti o Waitangi (the Treaty of Waitangi) as it applies in the public sector.

Corporate Support includes Finance, Legal, Risk and Assurance, Research and Analytics, Procurement, and Enterprise Change. For the Agency to be successful, Corporate & Commercial needs to deliver quality services efficiently.
Investment and Finance team is responsible for NZTA | Waka Kotahi's: financial management; performance reporting; business planning; and investment frameworks. Teams comprise: financial management including planning, budgeting, insurance, and supporting systems; Investment assurance and policy; financial operations including processing and revenue collection/refunds; organisational performance monitoring and reporting; and funding and financing, including funding and cashflow management.
