We are currently looking for an experienced Finance Manager Shared Services to join our Operational Finance division based in Sydney. Reporting into the General Manager - Operational Finance, youll be responsible for the centralisation, standardisation and management of finance shared services including transactional accounting, accounts payable & receivable, travel & expense management, leases and staff cost/recovery. A key focus will be on developing and implementing process improvements to enhance internal financial controls and providing effective finance service delivery to John Holland regions and projects
Key Responsibilities of the role include:
Management of accounts receivable, accounts payable, travel costing, employee expenses, vendors, asset & property leasing, credit cards and corporate recharges
Manage preparation of Shared Services processes & procedures training materials and roll-out of end user training
Review and improve functionality & utilisation of finance systems including procure to pay, expense management, time sheeting and staff recovery.
Assist in programs of work for new finance processes & systems and work with the corporate finance and ICT teams to execute and manage plans to completion
Involvement in Finance Management Systems review and any subsequent ERP implementation
Document and review existing processes, identifying and implementing changes that improve efficiency, eliminate duplication or automate processes
To be successful in this key role, you must have:
Shared Services Finance Management experience, leading/managing a Finance shared services function
Tertiary qualifications (Bachelor level) e.g. Management/Finance/Commerce/Accounting/Business
CA or CPA qualified
Experience in leading/managing process improvements and system development
