An excellent opportunity has arisen for a CA/ CPA qualified finance professional to join this iconic NZX listed business. A household name and leader in their field, they are currently looking for a hands on Finance Manager to join their fast paced and highly skilled finance team for an initial 3 month period.
This is a broad & varied role which has elements of routine tasks alongside a large proportion of ad-hoc & project focused reporting & analysis. Although working as part of a large finance team, this is a standalone role with good levels of responsibility, reporting into an impressive & knowledgeable Head of Finance. The core tasks for this position are as follows;
Play a key role in driving the annual budgeting process
Working with key stakeholders to consolidate the financial reports and produce monthly reporting packs, including commentary for the senior leadership team
Work closely with the Head of Finance and Head of Business Partnering to streamline and automate processes
Partner with Business Improvement Team Lead to implement a new reporting tool
The successful candidate will ideally be a CA/ CPA qualified Accountant with broad based skills across financial accounting, FP&A and projects. It’s essential that you have gained exposure to the commercial sector in a fast paced and complex organisation, with a background specifically in Property, Retail or similar highly advantageous.
