You will be working closely with our Financial Controller to provide high quality insights driven financial information to support and influence strategic & commercial decisions for WSP New Zealand.The Role:Lead the NZ Accounting Team in completing the internal business month end reporting cycle, including analysis and reporting, and ensuring efficiency and accuracy of processes embedded in a sound internal control environment.Support the business planning processes within an integrated framework which delivers accurate and timely budgets and forecasts.Partner with the business and lead the NZ Accounting Team to deliver information and insight within the business partnering framework, as a core deliverable to our internal clients.Prepare statutory reporting in line with IFRS and WSP Group guidance, coordinate the external audit process and complete external filing requirements.Provide clear leadership and support to the NZ Accounting Team, working collaboratively with the Financial Controller, CFO and wider Finance team within the business partnering framework.Skills and Experience:Degree qualified, and CA qualified or equivalent.5 or more years' practical experience in Accounting roles relevant to a Finance Manager level in all aspects of Finance, Business Partnering, Planning and Decision Support.Deep knowledge and understanding of Accounting, Finance, Budgeting, Forecasting and Reporting activities is critical.Interpersonal skills that will enable effective communication with a wide range of people and participation in project teams.Strong business partnering skills, with the ability to build; maintain and influence relationships with key stakeholders.Previous leadership experienceHow to Apply:If this sounds like you, we want you to be part of what makes us great.
