We're looking for a candidate to this position in an exciting company.
Work closely with the implementation Partner on the overall architecture of the ERP solution, including definition of finance business processes, rule exceptions, and functional requirements.
Collaborate with key stakeholders from the business including, business SME's, senior finance stakeholders and other key functional leads in order to drive alignment of business needs and lead discussions to arrive at mutually agreeable solution options.
Lead the Finance work streams of the project driving towards decisions and recommending best practices related to functionality including, but not limited to; core financial accounting, procurement, inventory, assets, banking, time tracking, expenses, billing etc
Complete the finance Data Gathering Workbooks with assistance from the service provider
Build the test strategy and test scenarios and execute testing.
Identify strategies, risks, and options, recommend approaches and mitigations to meet functional requirements
Understand and apply ERP methodologies.
Provide the relevant leads with status updates and keep them informed of overall project status.
Demonstrate strong stakeholder management to achieve project objectives
A proven senior level finance professional with a relevant tertiary qualification and/or CA qualification or equivalent.
Experience of working in a Project Accounting capacity or managing/supporting projects from a finance perspective.
Significant experience within complex accounting functions, with at least 4-5 years exposure to working with large finance systems and a good understanding of financial and procurement system functionality.
Ability to identify opportunities for efficiencies and develop enhanced internal controls
Strong numeracy and analytical skills.
Good written and oral communication skills, including presentation of technical information to users.
