See where your commitment could take you.We are seeking ahighly skilled, experienced, and dynamic Finance Business Partner who will work closely with Project Managers, Project Directors, Business Group Leaders, and key stakeholders to drive financial performance and provide key insights on project performance. As an integral member of the team, the Finance Business Partner will work under the direction of the Finance Manager, to provide proactive support to the business including project financial performance and client outcomes.Core to the role will involve standardising/streamlining processes and implementing the GHD way of working to align with global policy.Key responsibilities will include: Providing trusted financial advice to key stakeholders to align business direction, financial strategies by utilising a variety of data sources to support sound decision making. Monthly analytical reviews of projects (budget, effort, revenue, variances) and engaging with project teams and senior leaders for discussion to ensure optimal performance and accurate revenue recognition. Assisting in pricing / commercial analysis for project proposals and major projects. Working with project teams to ensure all applicable client billings are raised and finalised by monthly deadlines and assisting with cash collections. Providing on-going training and education of key concepts and systems to improve financial and commercial acumen across the business. Implementing ongoing improvements in key financial and operational processes covering both revenue and cost. Assisting in ensuring GHD meets all internal and external statutory compliance requirements including financial audits. Support building a high performing environment and culture across finance and business teams. Backup for Senior Finance Business Partner (when on leave). What will you bring to the team: 7 years or more finance experience. Bachelor's degree, accounting major. Pursuing or completed CPA/CA qualification or equivalent. Experience in professional services, construction or project environments with a thorough understanding of revenue and work in progress concepts. Developing, analysing and reporting to budgets and forecasts. Advanced skills in Excel and Microsoft Office suite. Experience working on BST10, Power BI and TM1 desirable. Strong communication skills - both verbal and written. Able to influence, collaborate and build relationships to drive exceptional business performance. Pragmatic and action orientated approach with a willingness to get involved at a hands-on level. Well organised, able to prioritise and an ability to develop and improve process and procedures.
