Following the recent transformation of our Business Units and broader Corporate Services function, we seek a proven financial professional to be the key interface between the Finance function and our Corporate Services teams, providing key financial expertise, reporting and advice to upskill, equip and ensure strong financial performance. Your key objective is to build the necessary influence to ensure the business units make financial decisions that are in the best interest of the company and in alignment with their team and broader LPC strategy.
Specific duties include:
Formation of strong relationships with the Corporate functions unit to build knowledge, relationships and cultivate a position as a trusted advisor.
Developing and maintaining an in-depth understanding of the financial drivers and indicators of the business unit, applying sound financial advisory ability to build credibility and provision high quality advice.
Detailed financial analysis, modelling, forecasting, budgeting and reporting to ensure the business unit operates within its cost envelope and constraints
Identification of improvement opportunities for systems and processes
Provide financial modelling analysis and assistance in the preparation of business cases for capital expenditure.
About you:
Accounting tertiary qualification.
Proven experience in the accountancy environment - either CA or in significant commercial entities
Business partnering experience and related technical, communication and relationship building skillset
Experience with large financial systems
Advanced user of Power BI systems
Advanced experience and knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Experience with SQL and multi-dimensional modelling is desirable
Display a high level of integrity and accuracy, and a passion for continuous improvement
