About Our Client

This company is a large construction company located in CBD looking for someone with a positive attitude to join the team.
Job Description

As a Finance Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the finance team enabling them to operate efficiently and deliver on deadlines.
Your day to day duties will be:
Assisting the finance team with the processing of high volume invoices and monthly payments
Processing Purchase orders
Communicating with suppliers
Assisting the Cost Controller with analysis and administrative duties in regard to budgets
Preparing and organising documentation for client claim support
Generating reports as and when required
Managing employee time sheets
Ad hoc admin duties as needed
The Successful Applicant

We are looking for someone with the following skills and attributes;
Positive attitude
Willingness to learn
Process driven and strong organisation skills
Have high attention to detail
Experience using accounting software is essential, Jobpac advantageous
Strong written and verbal communication
Basic accounts understanding
Microsoft Office skills (Intermediate Excel or interest in developing these skills)
Have NZ working rights to work a minimum of 1 year
Clean credit and police check
