Fundamental Worldwide is a diverse and fast growing marketing agency in Australasia, which works exclusively in the not for profit sector. Due to an exciting period of growth we are looking for a finance administrator to join the team and provided support to the Managing Director and CFO.
Key duties will include the following.
• Bank reconciliation, coding tasks and loading key information in accounting software Xero.
• Onboarding all new employees into the payroll system.
• Processing weekly payroll and assisting in resolving any pay queries.
• Managing accounts receivable through generating invoices to clients and ensuring they are paid on time.
• Managing accounts payable. Checking invoices received and ensuring they are paid before the due date.
• Manage the tracking of expenses through the business working with the logistics team. Checking expense reimbursement reports and processing reimbursements.
• Work with the Director and CFO preparing analytical reports around core responsibilities.
• Perform other general administrative duties and ad-hoc tasks for the business.
To be successful in the role you will need
• 2 years relevant experience in a similar role.
• Intermediate ability using the Microsoft office suite, particularly Excel. With fast, accurate data entry skills
• An expert using Xero
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies.
• Ability to work to deadlines and prioritize workload
• Strong problem solving and time management skills
• A proactive stakeholder focused attitude
